Horses have been at the very core of Kim & Kelly's lives and dreams since childhood. Both have dedicated their lives to being actively involved in riding, training and showing, particularly in the ApHC industry.

Together, after their marriage in 1992, they turned their dreams into Hedges Show Horses with the simple goal of helping their clients steadily evaluate and achieve their riding goals, at whatever level.

Under Kim & Kelly's guidance several of their Youth and Non-pro riders have reached their goals and gone onto earn many World & National Championship and Reserve World & National Championship titles. Other honors their clients (and horses) have achieved include multiple "High Point in the Nation" and "Top Ten in the Nation" awards.

Additionally, Kelly's talent as a judge has been sought after both nationally and internationally. For the past 23 years he has judged stateside shows and shows in Europe and the Middle East. He has judged the Appaloosa National Championship and World Shows twice. He currently sits on the Judges Advisory Committee and was honored in 2006 as the AphC's highly coveted "Trainer of the Year" award. Kelly is also an NSBA judge.

While at home Kim & Kelly work hard to help riders and their horses prepare a solid foundation for success at every level. They pride themselves on a common sense, consistent approach to training, showing and life.
